Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and check-in to Hotel

The representatives from World Sight Journeys will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport upon your arrival. We then transfer you to the hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 02: Full Day Sightseeing Tour of Kathmandu Valley

Today, we spend the whole for the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley. You will have the full day guided sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley covering the major cultural attractions which have also been cited as The World Heritage Cultural Sites. After having breakfast in the morning, we visit Pashupatinath, which is considered the holiest temple of Lord Shiva.  We then head to Bauddhanath, which is also known as Little Tibet and also is one of the oldest and largest Buddhist Monastery in the world. Following the Bauddhanath Monastery, we visit Swayambhunath, the Monkey Temple, which is equally revered by Hindus and Buddhists.   Swayambhunath is an ancient religious complex atop a hill in the west of Kathmandu. After exploring the Swayambhunath Stupa, we drive to Kathmandu (Basantpur) Durbar Square. If time allows, you can explore the city. Finally, you will have dinner at hotel and stay there overnight.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (Around 7/8 hours)

After having breakfast in the morning today, we drive to Pokhara. It takes around 7 hours to reach Pokhara from Kathmandu by bus. You can also take the flight which take about 30 minutes and in the remaining time, take your time to explore the Pokhara city and Lakeside. We stay overnight at a guesthouse in Pokhara.

Day 04: Trek from Pokhara to Bhumdi (1520m) – 6 Hours

We drive to Thado Khola passing the beautiful Davis Falls on the way. From Thado Khola, we start trekking to Bhumdi through the lush green forest teeming with amazing flora and fauna. We stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 05: Trek from Bhumdi to Panchase Bhanjyang (2030m) – 5 Hours

If the weather is fair, Bhumdi offers you the more opportunities to explore the beautiful mountains along the trail. Passing through the forest and on to the Bhanjyang we reach Panchase. We stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 06: Trek from Panchase Bhanjyang to Panchase Peak to Chitre (1400m) – 7 Hours

From Panchase Bhanjyang, we hike up to Panchase Hill Summit which at the altitude of 2500m. Anyone get allured with the panorama of Annapurna Massif and other mountains including Manaslu and Dhaulagiri. Climbing uphill steeply through the sparse forests and pastures brings us to Chitre, where we stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 07: Trek from Chitre to Matathanti (1200m) – 5 Hours

Today, our trail passes through the scattered villages to finally reach the village of Matathanti, where we stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 08: Trek from Matathanti to Ghandruk (1940m) – 5 Hours

Today will be quite easy walk before an ascent to Ghandruk. Well, Ghandruk is the largest settlement of Gurung Community in Nepal. We stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 09: Exploration Day at Ghandruk

We take this day as a rest day or an exploration day at the Gurung village of Ghandruk. You can discover the typical Gurung Culture and lifestyle of people there. We stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 10: Trek from Ghandruk to Pothana (1910m) – 4 Hours

We start off downhill to Modikhola today and then cross the suspension bridge over Modi Khola. We then follow the trail uphill to Landrung village, from where we can witness some of the splendid views of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna. Continuing uphill through the woodlands of Deurali, we eventually trek gradually downhill to reach Pothana. We stay overnight at a guesthouse

Day 11: Trek from Pothana to Pokhara

Today, we initially walk to Dhampus and the follow the trail along the ridge to Phedi passing through the rice terraces and villages en route. Finally, we reach Pokhara, where we stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 12: Pokhara City Sightseeing Tour

We spend this whole day sightseeing the beautiful city of Pokhara, which is the best tourist destination in Nepal. Early in the morning, our first aim is to reach Sarangkot, which is popular among tourists as it offers the beautiful sunrise and sunset views. You can witness the phenomenal sunrise in the beautiful Machhapuchhre, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After spending an hour at Sarankot, we drive back to Pokhara to explore the number of mysterious caves and temples. We take our time to enjoy boating in Fewa Lake and explore the Seti Gorge and Davis Falls. In the remaining time, you can explore around the city. Overnight, we stay at a guesthouse.

Day 13: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

We drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara today. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you can utilize your time for the last minute shopping or you can explore around the city. We celebrate the Farewell Dinner together with the trekking team and spend overnight at the hotel.

Day 14: Final Departure

Today, you take the returning flight to your hometown. Our representatives will assist you to reach the airport. You return to your home with an unforgettable travel experience in Nepal.
